Bulk S-g-C3N4 was synthesized by heating a mixture of dicyandiamide and thiourea. The bulk material was then sonicated in 1,3-butanediol to produce quantum dots, which were characterized for their size, morphology, and fluorescent properties.

Fluorescent properties were analyzed using PL spectroscopy, and the quantum yield was calculated by comparing with standard quinine sulfate. Cell viability was assessed using MTT assay.
