研究目的
The development of a compact and portable SiPM based optical probe for TD-NIRS, that can be directly put in contact with the sample, avoiding the need for cumbersome optical fibers and lenses to increase diffused photon harvesting efficiency.
研究成果
The designed prototype showcases good photon count linearity with potential drifts remaining below ±1% for measurement periods longer than an hour. The compact size, low-cost, ease-of-operation, portability, and user-customizable utilities represent a significant step towards next-generation multichannel and multi-wavelength TD-NIRS diagnostic instruments for wearable healthcare applications.
研究不足
The silicon interposer platform has surface scratching and TSV recessing issues, with high TSV resistance varying from 10 - 100 kilo ohms range, which impedes the performance of some functional blocks, especially the pulsed light emission module.
