研究目的
Investigating the influence of gold ions on the piezo-optical and third harmonic generation properties of Na2O–Sb2O3 glass ceramics.
研究成果
The study concludes that Na2O–Sb2O3 glass ceramics with small traces of Au2O3 exhibit maximal THG signal intensity and piezo-optical coefficients, making them suitable for nonlinear optical triggering devices and piezoelectric devices. The presence of Na3SbO3 and Au2O3 crystal phases is crucial for these effects, while Na2Sb2O6 crystal phases and Au0 metallic particles hinder them.
研究不足
The study is limited to the effects of Au2O3 concentration on the properties of Na2O–Sb2O3 glass ceramics. The findings may not be directly applicable to other glass systems or under different experimental conditions.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study involved synthesizing sodium antimonate glass ceramics with varying concentrations of Au2O3, followed by characterization using XRD, XPS, SEM, and TEM techniques. Nd: YAG lasers were used for inducing third harmonic generation (THG) and piezo-optical effects.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Samples were prepared with chemical compositions of 60 Sb2O3-(40-x) Na2O–x Au2O3 (0 ≤ x ≤
3:1, in steps of 025). List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Nd: YAG lasers (λ = 1320 nm and λ = 1064 nm), cw He-Ne laser (20 mW), XRD, XPS, SEM, TEM, IR, and Raman spectroscopy equipment.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
Samples were melted, quenched, annealed, and heat-treated. THG and piezo-optical effects were measured using laser beams and mechanical stress.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The intensity of THG signal and piezo-optical coefficients were analyzed in relation to Au2O3 concentration and laser power density.
