研究目的
Investigation of the phenomenon of shock wave excitation caused by laser impact in hard alloy T5R10 and the effect of volumetric pulsed laser hardening (VPLH) on the changes in strength of hard alloy T5R10.
研究成果
1. Bending tests showed, on average, 1.2 times increase of their strength after VPLH. 2. The obtained results make it possible to judge the improvement of material uniformity. 3. The presence of deep hardening zone (up to 30 mm) gives prospects to the application of VPLH method in the conditions of heavy engineering. 4. The effect of hardening of tungsten-containing hard alloys T5R10 when using VPLH method is proved. 5. The formation of the shock wave in the material initiated by irradiation of the laser operating in a free generation mode is confirmed.
研究不足
The study focuses on hard alloy T5R10 and the effects of VPLH, which may not be generalizable to other materials or hardening methods.
