The transmittance of polymer blend decreased with the rise of LLDPE content. The chemical cross-linking reaction needed much more energy consumption for the single polymer component of POE.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
A secondary master batch process was applied to design a polyolefin encapsulant material. The polymer blend was composed of POE and LLDPE with the addition of TBEC and KH
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
5 POE was bought from Dow Chemical Company, LLDPE from SINOPEC Maoming Petrochemical Branch, TBEC from Tokyo Chemical Industry, and KH570 from Shanghai Reagents Company.

Haake torque rheometer, automatic laminating machine for solar photovoltaic modules, press vulcanizer, UV–Vis spectrocolorimeter, DSC, FTIR instrument.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The polymer compounds were mixed well by a mechanical stirrer and then granulated by a plastic extruder. The laminator curing and press vulcanizer were used for curing processes.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The rheological property, cross-linking degree, peel strength, transmittance, melting points, and molecular structure were analyzed.
