研究目的
To investigate the influence of multiple square laser impacts on the diverse mechanical behaviours of the thin leading edge surface of turbine blades and to determine the effects of single-sided and double-sided laser shock peening.
研究成果
The 3D finite element analysis simulation has been developed to predict the residual stresses, the equivalent plastic strain and the Johnson–Cook superficial damage generated by the LSP process. The results have revealed a good correspondence with the experimental data. The best compressive residual stress is accomplished by three impacts applied on each side, found to be 1040 MPa. The Johnson–Cook superficial damage does not exceed 20% for a single impact.
研究不足
The study focuses on the numerical simulation of the effects of multiple square laser impacts on the thin leading edge surface of turbine blades, and the experimental validation is limited to the comparison with existing experimental data.
