研究目的
Investigating the soliton evolution in a mode locked Er-doped fiber laser with intra-cavity soliton self-frequency shift and analyzing the effects of different parameters on the frequency shift.
研究成果
The frequency shift amount in a mode locked fiber laser with SSFS effect increases with decreasing the length of DSF and the modulation depth, or increasing the pump strength. This simulation provides insight into the dynamic characteristics of such lasers and aids in parameter selection for maximum red shift.
研究不足
The study is based on numerical simulation, which may not fully capture all real-world physical phenomena. The impact of other potential parameters on SSFS was not explored.
