研究目的
To utilize Reverse Engineering (RE) and Rapid Prototyping (RP) technologies for the manufacturing of a cream bottle, demonstrating how these technologies can shorten the manufacturing cycle, meet production requirements, and improve efficiency.
研究成果
The study demonstrated that Imageware and Solidworks can be effectively used in reverse engineering and rapid prototyping to design and manufacture parts like a cream bottle without original drawings. RE and RP technologies are particularly useful for manufacturing parts that are difficult to mold or do not have existing drawings.
研究不足
The quality of the point cloud obtained was not very high due to the precision and the error of the operation. Surface may be rough in rapid prototyping due to the accuracy of machine.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study employed RE and RP technologies for the design and manufacturing of a cream bottle. Points cloud data was acquired using a handheld laser scanner, processed with Imageware software, and modeled in Solidworks. The entity model was then manufactured using an RP machine.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
A cream bottle was selected as the sample. Points cloud data was obtained through handheld laser scanning.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Handheld laser scanner, Imageware software, Solidworks software, RP machine (MEM320A), ABS B601 and ABS S301 materials.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The process included points cloud data acquisition, data processing and modeling in Imageware and Solidworks, and rapid prototyping with the RP machine.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The study focused on the practical application of RE and RP technologies, with qualitative analysis of the manufacturing process and outcomes.
