To study and improve the key technologies in the intelligent image knowledge discovery system and the characteristics of medical image data, focusing on the RDM texture features as the feature representation of medical images and proposing an improved RDM operator.

The improved RDM operator has been shown to enhance the stability of medical image data expression and improve the accuracy of knowledge discovery results. The study also explores the application of visual word models in medical image knowledge discovery, proposing improvements to address the disordering of words in the model and adding spatial location information.

The study acknowledges the challenges in automatic image segmentation technology and the need for modifications in the research of medical image features due to the introduction of noise in the imaging process. The effectiveness of feature extraction and classification methods still needs improvement.
