The study successfully engineered a nano-sized, highly stable IJA liposomal formulation with superior photothermal properties and in vivo fluorescence imaging capabilities. The liposomal IJA demonstrated prolonged blood circulation, enhanced tumor fluorescence signals, and high photo-stability, making it a promising theranostic platform for combinatory chemo- and photothermal cancer therapy.
