研究目的
To measure the dynamic response during laser forming to improve the understanding of the process and allow the development and verification of improved numerical models.
研究成果
The measurement technique can be applied for analyzing the dynamic response of the surface during laser forming. The results show that most of the permanent deformation occurs 0.1–0.2 s after the laser leaves the plate, with an elastic part remaining that may take more than 60 s to fully remove. The dynamic response can be used to verify numerical models, increasing confidence in their predictions.
研究不足
The measurement technique is limited by the buffer overflow problem with the scanner, restricting the measurement time to about 3.12 s. Additionally, the initial variations between samples due to manufacturing can affect the results.
