研究目的
To synthesize and characterize novel Zn and Cd coordination polymers assembled from imidazole-based zwitterionic ligands and investigate their luminescence properties.
研究成果
Two novel Zn(II) and Cd(II) coordination polymers were successfully synthesized and characterized. Compound I exhibits a two-dimensional sql layer structure with interlocking helix chains, while compound II shows a rare three-dimensional six-fold interpenetrating dia topology. Both compounds emit blue light, suggesting potential applications as luminescent materials.
研究不足
The study is limited to the synthesis and characterization of two specific coordination polymers. The luminescence properties were only investigated in the solid state at room temperature.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
Solvothermal method was used for synthesis. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction, FT-IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and thermogravimetric analysis were employed for characterization.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
The ligands and metal salts were commercially available and used without further purification.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
JEOL JNM-LA500FT instrument for 1H NMR, Perkin-Elmer 240C elemental analyzer for elemental analysis, Nicolet IR-408 spectrometer for IR spectra, BRUKER D8 ADVANCE diffractometer for PXRD, Netzsch TG 209 instrument for TG analysis, Horiba Scientific fluorescence for luminescence measurements.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The synthesis involved heating the mixture of ligands and metal salts in a mixed solvent under solvothermal conditions, followed by cooling and crystallization.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The structures were solved and refined using Olex2, ShelXS, and ShelXL programs. Luminescence data were analyzed based on emission and excitation spectra.
