To study the impact of environmental uncertainties on the yielding power of single diode solar cells and to formulate a reliability design as a bi-objective optimization problem.
研究成果
The reliability design of a single diode solar cell model benefits greatly from the discovered active subspaces of the mean and variance of MPP, which in turn can be computed efficiently by means of the gPC method. The result from the active subspace method is not only better but also faster than that obtained through the computationally intense direct design approach.
研究不足
The study only considers the problem of selecting model parameters of a single diode solar cell model. Further work on utilizing this for incorporation into the MPP tracking algorithm for the entire generic PV system with different cell/module connection configurations should be considered.
