研究目的
To design an Ag‐graphene layers‐coated H‐shaped photonic crystal fiber (PCF) surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor for refractive index (RI) sensing, addressing the challenges of air‐holes material coating and analyte filling in PCF.
研究成果
The designed Ag‐graphene SPR‐based H‐shaped PCF RI sensor demonstrates high sensitivity and resolution, with potential applications in water pollution monitoring and biosensing. The U‐shaped grooves open structure simplifies the preparation process and eliminates the need for pre‐injection of the analyte. The birefringence phenomenon observed can be utilized for multi‐parameter measurements.
研究不足
The study is based on numerical simulations, and practical fabrication challenges such as precise control over the thicknesses of silver and graphene layers are not addressed. The sensor's performance in real‐world applications, including environmental factors and long‐term stability, is not evaluated.
