研究目的
Investigating the mathematical model of the process of local heating of a certain region of tissue under the surface of the skin by laser radiation, which is inserted into the tissue by a light guide.
研究成果
1. The heating of biological tissue by laser radiation depends significantly on the wavelength, with green or CO2 laser radiation being optimal for local heating. 2. The thermal time constant is a few minutes, determined by tissue heat conductivity and blood flow rate. 3. The maximum heating temperature is independent of pulse shape and duration for pulses much shorter than the thermal time constant. 4. Heat propagation during the pulse is determined by pulse duration and thermal diffusivity. 5. Post-pulse, the heated volume cools while spreading heat to surrounding tissue.
研究不足
The study is limited by the assumptions made in the mathematical model, such as uniform distribution of heat sources and simplified blood flow dynamics. The experimental validation is also limited to specific conditions and may not account for all biological variabilities.
