研究目的
To evaluate various string configurations attached to state-of-the-art commercial inverters widely used in the industry from both mismatch loss and cost perspective under partial shading conditions.
研究成果
The study concludes that a rooftop system with higher number of inverter-MPPT inputs is the most efficient under partial shading conditions. The choice of inverters and string orientation significantly affects the system performance under shading conditions, impacting the LCOE. Inverter 6 is identified as the most optimal choice with the lowest LCOE under both symmetrical shading and field conditions.
研究不足
The study is limited to SMA inverters for the case study to minimize any possibility of asserting superiority of one manufacturer's model to other manufacturers' products. The analysis could be extended to other manufacturers like Schneider, Huawei, Fronius, etc.
