研究目的
Investigating the effects of micromechanical retention (microslits of different sizes) created by lasers on durability and bond strength regarding two different zirconia ceramics and an acrylic resin.
研究成果
Micromechanical microslits etched with a Nd: YVO4 laser effectively improve the bonding strength and durability of acrylic resin to zirconia ceramics. The bond strength remained high after artificial aging, with no difference between different microslit sizes.
研究不足
The study did not assess the surface roughness of the treated zirconia ceramics. Future research is needed on the thickness of RPD frameworks made by zirconia ceramics with microslits, processing time, and laser strength.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection
The study investigated the effect of micromechanical reticular retention (microslits) created by lasers on the bonding strength of acrylic resin to zirconia ceramics, comparing it with traditional air-abrasion treatment.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources
Two types of zirconia ceramics (Y-TZP and Ce-TZP/A) were used, processed with CAD/CAM system, and sintered. Specimens were prepared and subjected to different surface treatments.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials
Materials included zirconia ceramics, acrylic resin, ceramic primer, alumina particles. Equipment included Nd: YVO4 laser, universal testing machine, SEM, thermal cycling apparatus.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow
Specimens were treated with air-abrasion or laser to create microslits, primed, and bonded with acrylic resin. SBS was tested before and after thermal cycling. Failure modes were observed.
5:Data Analysis Methods
Data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance, one-way ANOVA with post hoc tests, and Levene’s test for homogeneity of variance.
