研究目的
To measure spectral and angular solar irradiance to accurately predict and optimize solar power plant performance.
研究成果
We demonstrate an efficient, easy and inexpensive method to measure the spectro-angular profile of solar radiation. The set-up and procedure proposed here can be used to estimate the output of PV cells under various weather conditions and locations, thus enabling us to achieve highest level of optimization.
研究不足
Variation in cloud coverage within the time taken to complete the whole spherical view will affect the spectral profile. The time required for recording the data must be reduced to ensure stable weather conditions for each data set.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The set-up consists of a fiber coupled spectrometer mounted to a rotational stage which allows for 360? light capture.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Measurements were taken in Enschede, Netherlands and in Phoenix, AZ, USA.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
A mini-tripod, a 1-inch calibrated rotation mount, and a fiber spectrometer.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
Sun light was collected along the east-west plane and the north-south plane. A whole circle in these planes was covered in the steps of 30? or 45?.
5:5?. Data Analysis Methods:
5. Data Analysis Methods: The intensity of the direct sun was recorded for each dataset a comparison of the scattered radiation with respect to the direct radiation is available.
