研究目的
Investigating the fabrication of colloidal plasmonic MoO3-x nanocrystals via a top-down approach using the synergic effect of oleic acid and oleylamine.
研究成果
A novel method was proposed for the preparation of α-MoO3-x nanocrystals, and the oxygen vacancies generation mechanism was thoroughly studied. The obtained MoO3-x nanocrystals showed prominent photothermal conversion effects owing to the strong plasmonic absorption in NIR. This investigation offered a straightforward picture of the oxygen defect generation mechanism in transition-metal oxides and might provide new guidance for manipulating the optical properties of metal oxide semiconductors.
研究不足
The practical applications of noble metals with LSPR properties are severely restricted due to their expensive cost. The method requires the use of specific ligands (OA and OAm) and may not be applicable to all types of metal oxides.
