研究目的
To design a sensitivity enhanced surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor with a MoS2/graphene hybrid overlayer for improved performance in sensing applications.
研究成果
The proposed SPR sensor with a MoS2/graphene hybrid overlayer demonstrates significantly higher sensitivity and combined sensitivity factor compared to existing configurations. The use of a Ti layer enhances the adherence between Ag and prism glass, while the hybrid overlayer protects the Ag layer from oxidation and increases sensitivity by absorbing more biomolecules. The optimal performance is achieved with 9 layers of MoS2 and 3 layers of graphene, providing a sensitivity of 71.260/RIU and a CSF of 372.72 RIU-1.
研究不足
The study is based on numerical simulations and theoretical modeling, which may not fully account for all practical challenges in sensor fabrication and real-world application. The performance enhancement is dependent on the optimal thickness of Ag layer and the number of MoS2 and graphene layers, which may require precise control in manufacturing.
