1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
Pulsed laser ablation in liquid followed by solution mixing was used to prepare the mixtures of Gd2O3:Yb3+/Er3+ and Gd2O3:Yb3+/Ho3+ nanoparticles.

The solid target was immersed into water and ablated by a pulsed laser. The obtained colloid solutions were mixed by ultrasonic aided mixing process.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The temperature dependent upconversion emission spectra were recorded and analyzed to derive the fluorescence intensity ratio (FIR).
