1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
Preparation of gel-like polymer electrolytes by incorporating PCL into DMF-KI liquid electrolytes. Synthesis of CoSe by hydrothermal method for use as counter electrode catalysts in DSSCs.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
PCL (Mw ~8 × 104 g mol?1), DMF, KI, Co(NO3)2·6H2O, selenide powder, and other materials were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich and other suppliers.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
HIOKI 3532–50 LCR Hi-tester impedance spectrometer, X-ray diffractometer (X’Pert Pro, Panalytical), field-emission scanning electron microscope (SUPRA 40, Gemini Zeiss), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) (Phenom XL, Thermo Scientific), and Oriel Newport LCS-100 solar simulator.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
Preparation of PCL-DMF-KI gel polymer electrolytes, synthesis and characterization of CoSe, preparation of CoSe and Pt counter electrodes, assembly and characterization of DSSCs.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Conductivity determined from impedance measurements, XRD and EDX for CoSe characterization, J-V characteristics and impedance measurements for DSSCs.
