The study successfully stabilized the α-FAPbI3 perovskite phase using a stepwise annealing method and a molecularly tailored IBA2FAPb2I7 overlayer, achieving a PCE of close to 23% and excellent operational stability under severe combined heat and light stress. This approach provides an efficient and cost-effective way to stabilize and improve the operational stability of FAPbI3-based perovskite solar cells, paving the way for their industrialization.
