The resonant LCL-T converter has the intrinsic ability to convert a current source into a voltage source, making it suitable for spacecraft power supply units where the primary source is a PV battery. The use of an active rectifier allows for high accuracy of parametric stabilization of the output voltage, from idle up to full load, without the need for frequency adjustment, simplifying control efforts.
