研究目的
To propose an adaptive multilooking scheme for multi-temporal InSAR data based on the DespecKS and NL-SAR algorithms, aiming to improve detail preservation and speckle noise reduction performances.
研究成果
The proposed multilooking scheme presents good performances on noise filtering and details’ preservation for DS pixels and preserves PS pixels more accurately than the other algorithms.
研究不足
The traditional way of speckle denoising is multilooking, which reduces it by averaging neighbouring. This method is simple and effective but with the inevitable disadvantage of reducing images’ resolution. What is more, in heterogeneous areas the multilooked (In)SAR images can be totally biased.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The scheme first classifies all pixels into different categories, and then different multilooking strategies are applied to the different types of pixels, accordingly.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Both simulated and real SAR datasets have been employed to evaluate the performance of this scheme.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Radarsat-2 images were provided by McDonald, Dettwiler and Associates (MDA).
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The scheme has been tested on both simulated and real SAR data.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The performance of the scheme is evaluated by analyzing the processing results.
