Maintaining a photovoltaic panel’s operating temperature at approximately 25°C can reduce a decrease in the efficiency of a photovoltaics’ power output. The use of a TEC for cooling photovoltaic panels is a practicable active cooling alternative, with further research needed to build a prototype for experimental analysis.
