研究目的
To describe the process of using the SIM Time Network Bilateral Comparison as a backup link to demonstrate traceability to UTC for calibration and dissemination services, following the CCTF-WGMRA Guideline 9.
研究成果
The SIM Time Network can be used as a backup link to UTC to demonstrate traceability in case the main link is lost. The results are adequate to sustain traceability and keep the CMC without any modification that could increase the uncertainties offered to clients.
研究不足
The study assumes that the uncertainty of the bilateral comparison can include all kinds of deviations that are not easy to characterize when only one receiver is available.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The methodology involves using the SIM Time Network Bilateral Comparison as a backup link for traceability to UTC, following the CCTF-WGMRA Guideline
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Data is acquired from the SIM Working Group webpage, corresponding to 200 days, and processed to validate the link between UTC(CNMP) and UTC through UTC(NIST).
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
The study uses a SIM receiver and a TTS-5 receiver for GPS observations.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The time difference between the SIM receiver and the TTS-5 GPS observations is periodically analyzed to characterize drifts and instabilities.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The stability of the comparison is obtained in ADEV terms, and the uncertainty of the bilateral comparison is analyzed.
