BLI was superior to HDWL for the real-time prediction of histology in polyps <10 mm. A BLI-dedicated classification might further improve the endoscopist performance.

研究不足

The study was a single-center study, all involved endoscopists were highly experienced in polyp characterization, and this may limit the generalizability of the results. The BLI dedicated classification for optical diagnosis of polyps was not available yet. No specific training was performed before starting the study. No accuracy monitoring system was set during the trial.
