研究目的
To develop a simple approach to screen a significant amount of new hybrid lead halide perovskites for efficient white-light emission.
研究成果
The screening by HT synthesis of photoluminescent hybrid perovskites is an efficient approach to identify rapidly phosphors with specific characteristics. Five new hybrid perovskites with intense white-light emissions were identified, and the in-depth characterization of selected candidates allowed for a better understanding of the mechanisms of photoluminescence as well as the identification of a new structure type for white luminescent hybrid perovskites.
研究不足
The chemical space explored in this paper remained limited in respect to the almost unlimited combinations of possible reactants (i.e., metals/halides/ammonium cations).
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
A solution of PbX2 dissolved in acid HX was prepared and mixed with amines. Fast crystallization was then carried out through the addition of an anti-solvent.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
A large variety of amines was used as precursors for the synthesis of hybrid perovskites.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Solutions of PbX2 in HX, amines, ethanol, and a UV lamp for preliminary screening.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The polycrystalline samples were recovered by filtration and washed with ethanol. Single crystals were synthesized by slow crystallization.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The photoluminescence properties were analyzed using a UV lamp and further investigated with steady-state photoluminescence and time-resolved photoluminescence.
