研究目的
To explore the alternations of interhemispheric functional connectivity (FC) of the whole brain in unilateral retinal detachment (RD) patients using the voxel-mirrored homotopic connectivity (VMHC) method and their connections to clinical features.
研究成果
The acute RD individuals were associated with the impaired functional connectivity (FC) between hemispheres in the visual area, which might provide some evidence to understand the neural mechanism of unilateral acute RD individuals with sharp vision loss.
研究不足
The amount of participants was relatively small. The RD patients were in different progresses of vision loss, which might have bad influence on the results of this study. The accuracy of the resting-state fMRI signal was vulnerable to the effects of psychological state and physiological noise such as heart beats and breathing in all subjects.
