研究目的
Investigating the mechanism of the Coulomb effect in the photoelectron spectrum for high-energy direct electrons in strong-field ionization.
研究成果
The enhancement of the tunnel ionized photoelectron spectra at the upper energy limit of the direct electrons in the strong Coulomb field regime is of a classical origin, due to nonuniform Coulomb momentum transfer with respect to the ionization phase. The angular distribution shows well distinguishable side lobes at the peak of the enhancement, which can be employed for molecular imaging. The study also presents a Coulomb-corrected version of SFA based on the generalized eikonal approximation for accurate quantum description of Coulomb effects at fast recollisions.
研究不足
The study primarily focuses on the tunneling regime of strong-field ionization and the specific Coulomb field effect identified in photoelectron spectra. The applicability of the findings to other regimes or effects is not discussed.
