研究目的
Investigating the potential of multicomponent chalcogenide glasses for supercontinuum generation in fiber or planar film applications.
研究成果
The study demonstrates that novel multicomponent bulk GAP-Se ChG glasses exhibit high values of linear and nonlinear refractive indices which increase directly with Pb(Se) concentration, while maintaining high, broadband transparency, and low optical losses throughout the IR. The magnitudes of these optical parameters are found to be competitive with respect to those of commonly-used homogeneous ChG glasses in both linear and nonlinear optical regimes.
研究不足
The study is limited by the current understanding of the nonlinear optical properties of chalcogenide glasses, especially in the mid-infrared and long-wave infrared spectral regions. Further research is needed to fully characterize the nonlinear properties of GAP-Se films in both their as-deposited amorphous and converted glass ceramic form.
