研究目的
To study the effect of CsI(Tl) micro-conical-frustums (CMCF) on the performance of the pixelated CsI(Tl) scintillation screen in X-ray imaging, including light output (LO), modulation transfer function (MTF), and detective quantum efficiency (DQE).
研究成果
The pixelated CsI(Tl) scintillation screen with CMCF shows superior LO and DQE compared to screens with CMC or RCMCF, especially at low spatial frequencies. However, the spatial resolution is slightly better with RCMCF. The comprehensive performance in X-ray imaging is best with CMCF, making it a promising design for optimization and fabrication of pixelated CsI(Tl) scintillation screens.
研究不足
The study is based on simulation results, which may not fully capture all real-world variables and conditions. The performance improvements are theoretical and need experimental validation. The study focuses on specific configurations of CMCF, and the results may vary with different designs or materials.
