研究目的
Mapping the level of degraded land of mangrove forest area in TUGU Sub-district, Semarang, by comparing the results between the Landsat 7 ETM + images of 2009 and ALOS AVNIR-2 in 2009.
研究成果
ALOS and Landsat Imagery are good for the determination and identifying critical mangrove area and distribution of mangrove forests, but the degraded land of mangrove maps generated by Landsat are less detailed than ALOS in classification and representation of the conditions of critical mangrove area in Tugu sub-district.
研究不足
The study found that the degraded land of mangrove maps generated by Landsat were less detailed than ALOS in classification and representation of the conditions of critical mangrove area in Tugu sub-district.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study used geographic information systems and remote sensing as tools of analysis based on three criteria: land use type, canopy density, and soil resilience from abrasion. Supervised image classification was performed using ER Mapper software for land use type and canopy density criteria, and soil types reclassification techniques using ArcGIS software for soil resilience from abrasion.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Two satellite image data were used: Landsat 7 ETM + images of 2009 and ALOS AVNIR-2 in
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
20 ER Mapper software, ArcGIS software, Landsat 7 ETM + images, ALOS AVNIR-2 images.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
Supervised image classification was performed for land use type and canopy density. Soil resilience from abrasion was determined using soil types reclassification techniques. The results were then analyzed to determine the level of degraded land of mangrove forest area.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The analysis was based on the three criteria mentioned, with the results compared between the two satellite images.
