研究目的
Preparation of erbium oxide nanocrystallites using the thermal decomposition method and their characterization using a combination of experimental techniques.
研究成果
Erbium oxide nanocrystallites were successfully prepared via a simple and inexpensive laboratory method based on thermal decomposition. The method allows for preparation of lanthanide oxide nanocrystallites which can serve for further studies on their potential applications.
研究不足
The study focuses on the synthesis and basic characterization of erbium oxide nanocrystallites. Further research is needed to explore their photochemical, photocatalytic, and phototoxic properties, as well as the process of aggregation nanocrystallites.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The thermal decomposition method was used to prepare erbium oxide nanocrystallites from a complex formed by Er(NO3)3 · 5H2O and glycine.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Erbium nitrate and glycine were used as precursors.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
X-ray diffractometer Ultima IV Rigaku, scanning electron microscope GAIA3, transmission electron microscope JEOL1200EX.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The complex was dried at 120 °C and calcined at 600 °C for 1 hour.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
XRD for phase composition and crystallite size, SEM and TEM for morphology, EDS for elemental composition.
