To develop a robust and accurate recognition method for Korean speed limit traffic signs that can operate in real-time and recognize various kinds of traffic signs.

The proposed method significantly reduces false alarms and accurately recognizes traffic signs, outperforming the original HOG and SVM method. Future work includes using two normal cameras with different focal lengths for better distant object detection and incorporating depth information to improve recognition performance.
研究不足
The method's performance may degrade when traffic signs are very far away, making features unclear and unrecognizable even after up-scaling. Super-resolution cameras could improve detection but are expensive and may prevent real-time computation.
