研究目的
To obtain a kind of water soluble ZnO clusters which could be applied at the domain such as UV-shielding, medicine, biomedical material.
研究成果
Zinc oxide nanoclusters prepared by dissolving of ZnO QDs in the water solutions of esterifiable PAMAMs are stable under sunlight and show bright blue under UV lamp. The PVA/ZnO nanoclusters film absorbed nearly 99 % of UV light at wavelengths between 200 and 240 nm, 75 % between 240 and 300 nm, demonstrating potential for UV-shielding applications.
研究不足
The study focuses on the stabilization and UV-shielding application of ZnO nanoclusters, with limited exploration of other potential applications or the long-term stability under various environmental conditions.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The preparation of ZnO QDs was based on literature, involving the reaction of Zn(CH3COO)2·2H2O with KOH in methanol. Esterifiable PAMAMs were used as modifiers to stabilize the ZnO QDs.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
ZnO QDs and PAMAMs of different half generations (G
3:5, G5, G5) were prepared. List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Zn(CH3COO)2·2H2O, KOH, CH3OH, PAMAMs, poly(vinyl alcohol).
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
ZnO QDs were added to PAMAMs solutions to form ZnO nanoclusters. PVA/ZnO nanoclusters films were prepared by casting.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Characterization by FTIR, TEM, UV/visible absorbance spectra, and photoluminescence (PL) emission and excitation spectra.
