研究目的
To develop a novel flexible magneto-dielectric (MD) substrate with high permeability and permittivity for realizing miniaturized and broadband flexible antennas.
研究成果
The developed MD substrate has the light and thin advantages, and achieves high permeability and permittivity over a wide frequency range. A miniaturized square patch antenna working at UHF 915 MHZ was redesigned based on the developed MD substrate, showing significant size reduction and enhanced bandwidth.
研究不足
The permeability of the developed materials is quite low on account of their low density and the dilution effect from high ratio addition of no-magnetic organic phase.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The novel substrate was fabricated through extrusion technology by mixing NiZnCo ferrite and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA).
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
NiZnCo powder with nominal composition Ni
3:5Zn29Co21Fe2O4 was prepared by conventional solid-phase reaction process. List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Impedance analyzer (Agilent, E4991B) for measuring complex permeability and permittivity.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The mixture was transferred into an extruder and extruded repeatedly to enhance uniformity and density.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The measured permeability and permittivity spectra were analyzed to evaluate the material's properties.
