A twelve-wavelength Thulium-doped fibre laser based on a microfibre coil resonator incorporating black phosphorus
摘要: Anovelmulti-wavelengthcontinuousThulium-doped?brelaserincorporatingamicro?brecoilresonatorbasedonblackphosphorus(MCR-BP)materialhasbeensuccessfullyfabricatedanddemonstrated.Atwelve-wavelengthspectrumwith0.54nmchannelspacinghasbeenachievedbysimplyadjustingthepumpsourcepower.Asinglepeakextinctionratioofmorethan40dBwasobserved.ThesuperiorperformanceoftheMCR-BPdescribedinthisarticlecomparedtoconventionalMCRbased?berlaserscanbeattributedtheinclusionoftheBlackPhosphorousMaterial.TheenhancedlasingisprimarilyduetothetwinpropertiesoftheMCR-BPdevicecombiningacomb-like?ltere?ectandafour-wave-mixing(FWM)e?ectcausedbythenonlinearityofblackphosphorus.Theexperimentalresultsindicatethatthenoveldevicecanbesuccessfullyusedasacomb?lterandanFWMsourcetorealizeamulti-wavelengthcontinuous?brelaserduetothelowcostandeaseoffabricationoftheMCR-BPdevice.
