Physical principle and advances in plasmon-enhanced upconversion luminescence
摘要: In this review, we introduced the principle and advances in plasmon-enhanced upconversion luminescence. Firstly, we focus on the physical mechanism and principle of plasmon-enhanced upconversion luminescence, based on quantum electrodynamics. Secondly, we introduce in detail the advances in plasmon-enhanced upconversion luminescence, including plasmon-enhanced UC luminescence by metal/films, core-shell upconversion nanocrystals, plasmonic arrays/cavity and metal tip. Our review can not only promote deeper understanding quantum electrodynamics based plasmon-enhanced upconversion luminescence, but also can enlighten the potential applications of plasmon-enhanced upconversion luminescence.

Recent advances in linear and nonlinear Raman spectroscopy. Part XII
摘要: This annual review is an overview of advances in the field of Raman spectroscopy as found in papers published in the previous calendar year in the Journal of Raman Spectroscopy (JRS), as well as in trends over the past decade across journals that have published papers important to the field of Raman spectroscopy. This information is gleaned from statistical data on article counts obtained from the Clarivate Analytic's Web of Science Core Collection by year and by subfield of Raman spectroscopy. Additional information is gleaned from presentations at the XXVI International Conference on Raman Spectroscopy (ICORS 2018) in Jeju Island, Korea in August 2018, and contributions on Raman scattering at SCIX 2018, organized by the Federation of Analytical Chemistry and Spectroscopy Societies (FACSS) in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in October 2018. Coverage is also provided for topics from the European Conference on Nonlinear Optical Spetroscopy (ECONOS 2018) held in April in Milan, Italy and GeoRaman 2018 in Catania, Italy in June. Finally, papers published in JRS in 2017 are highlighted and arranged by topics at the frontier of Raman spectroscopy. On the basis of this survey information, it is clear that Raman spectroscopy continues as in recent years as a rapidly expanding field of research across a wide range of novel disciplines and applications that provide sensitive photonic information of matter at the molecular level.

Recent Advances and Applications of Near Infrared Spectroscopy for Honey Quality Assessment
摘要: Currently, most of the technologies used to identify honey quality are inefficient and costly. There is a necessity to develop a more effective one for honey quality assessment. Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) has the potential to be such a technique for its unique characteristics. This study reviews recent advances and applications of NIR spectroscopy in honey authentication domain including constituents, adulteration, brand, botanical origin and geographical origin. It presents a comprehensive using of this technology, with advantages and limitations, in honey quality detection, which offers insights on selecting the most appropriate NIR spectroscopic method for samples presentation, spectral acquisition, spectral pretreatment and modeling. Future research is to be focused on increasing model robustness, developing overall NIR spectroscopic database and a NIR-based integrated technology system on honey quality assessment.
