1 cm <sup>2</sup> Organic Photovoltaic Cells for Indoor Application with over 20% Efficiency
摘要: Organic photovoltaic (OPV) technologies have the advantages of fabricating larger-area and light-weight solar panels on flexible substrates by low-cost roll-to-toll production. Recently, OPV cells have achieved many significant advances with power conversion efficiency (PCE) increasing rapidly. However, large-scale solar farms using OPV modules still face great challenges, such as device stability. Herein, the applications of OPV cells in indoor light environments are studied. Via optimizing the active layers to have a good match with the indoor light source, 1 cm2 OPV cells are fabricated and a top PCE of 22% under 1000 lux light-emitting diode (2700 K) illumination is demonstrated. In this work, the light intensities are measured carefully. Incorporated with the external quantum efficiency and photon flux spectrum, the integral current densities of the cells are calculated to confirm the reliability of the photovoltaic measurement. In addition, the devices show much better stability under continuous indoor light illumination. The results suggest that designing wide-bandgap active materials to meet the requirements for the indoor OPV cells has a great potential in achieving higher photovoltaic performance.

摘要: In Black Photo Spacer (BPS) technology, Around gap mura (AGM) is the main reason which limits the application in narrow border display. Using gray tone mask design, AGM can be improved by reduing the film thickness and keeping cell gap uniformity. For the first time, we realize narrow border display application with BPS technology.

Synthesis and investigation of double alternating azo group in novel para-azo dyes containing nitro anchoring group for solar cell application
摘要: To study the effect of Thiazole (as a heterocycle with donation group) in DSSCs, sample A was made without heterocycle, samples B and C contain one Thiazole and various donor group but sample D had two Thiazole group. Moreover, the effects of a double Azo group, and increasing the length of π-conjugation by reducing band gap trough heterocycle rings (donor-donor-π-acceptor system) and Nitro anchoring group were investigated. Nitro groups disappeared in IR at about 1340 and 1598 cm-1 which indicates that dyes successfully connected on TiO2. UV-vis and DRS analysis was studied in visible region that showed Red-shifts for the samples. The HOMO values obtained from the CV tests were calculated between -5.03 to 5.13 eV. The results show that D sample was better than others, showing a 0.5 V increase in its open-circuit voltage in the IV analysis. From the Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), Rct value for D cell was measured to be 73.35 KΩ, which is bigger than the other samples, and in line with I-V analysis results.

摘要: This manuscript proposes a dual-steerable-beam multi-slot coupled metasurface antenna for a potential candidate of the indoor base station application. It consists of 7×10 metasurface cells coupled by 4 unequal-spacing slots with a two-port microstrip feeding line. The steerable beams are readily obtained by applying some phase differences between adjacent coupling slots. As a result, the operating band of the proposed antenna ranges from 5.15 GHz to 5.35 GHz for applications of LTE-U band in China. The 10-dB beamwidth of the two beams is around 120° in YOZ plane and the cross level at the junction of the two beams is around -10 dB. Compared with conventional multi-beam antenna arrays, the proposed antenna implements two steerable beams without complex beam-forming network or phase shifters, which can be easily extended to multi-beam indoor base station array design.

摘要: This paper proposes a new single-phase inverter topology with common-ground for photovoltaic (PV) applications. The proposed inverter has the major features as the same ground between dc input and ac output voltage, voltage buck/boost capability and shoot-through immunity. The theoretical analysis and PWM method for the introduced inverter are discussed. A prototype based on a DSP TMS320F280049C was set up to confirm the performance of the introduced inverter. Simulation and experimental results are shown to validate the theoretical analysis and effectiveness of introduced inverter. The experimental results matched the theoretical analysis and simulation results.

Tracking Unmanned Aerial Vehicle CTU FTS - Application of equipment
摘要: Article which is about the Tracking Unmanned Aerial Vehicle continues in the description of the project development dealing with the utilization of the UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle). Documentation of the project progresses builds on the previous article. In that article the selection of observation and transmission equipment was summarized. In the article, the reader learns about an installation of the equipment on the UAV (helicopter), about an interconnection of the equipment to create complete and functional system, about testing of the UAV, about the solutions of the problems which came into being during the equipment against testing and about protection of unfavourable effects. The unmanned vehicle was chosen after a considering of several the parameters. These parameters are preservation of functionality or an influence to the balance. To find out how the added equipment affect the centre of gravity of the UAV the tabular method of the centre of gravity calculation was used. The results of the existing work on the project are location and attaching of the equipment to the unmanned vehicle, balance of the unmanned vehicle, solutions of the problems coming into being during the testing and design of the equipment protection against unfavourable effects.

Melamine Faced Panels Defect Classification beyond the Visible Spectrum
摘要: In this work, we explore the use of images from different spectral bands to classify defects in melamine faced panels, which could appear through the production process. Through experimental evaluation, we evaluate the use of images from the visible (VS), near-infrared (NIR), and long wavelength infrared (LWIR), to classify the defects using a feature descriptor learning approach together with a support vector machine classifier. Two descriptors were evaluated, Extended Local Binary Patterns (E-LBP) and SURF using a Bag of Words (BoW) representation. The evaluation was carried on with an image set obtained during this work, which contained five different defect categories that currently occurs in the industry. Results show that using images from beyond the visual spectrum helps to improve classification performance in contrast with a single visible spectrum solution.

Recent Development in Ferrite Material for High Power Application [Passive Components]
摘要: There is no doubt that power electronics is playing a critical role in the evolution of the overall infrastructure of energy supply, from motion control and drives to industry automation and traction techniques. However, unlike decades of impressive developments in semiconductor technologies, the developments in the passive components arena, especially in magnetic components, have been rather slow and have been seen as a power system bottleneck in terms of efficiency and miniaturization. To fully tap the benefits of next-generation semiconductors, namely, silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride power devices, the next-generation passive components, particularly magnetic components, must be compatible with these emerging devices, especially at high frequencies and under high pulse excitation. In essence, high saturation and low-power losses under pulse excitation and relatively high temperatures are required. Current power converters using MnZn-ferrite magnetic materials possess saturation induction (Bs) levels around 530 mT at room temperature that decrease down to 430 mT at 100 °C. It is to be noted that the Bs is measured according to the IEC standard for polycrystalline ferrite under room temperature, at a field strength of 1194 A/m and 10 kHz, which is far beyond the application range. The applicable field strength varies between 100 and 200 A/m depending on the industry (aerospace, industry, and consumer electronics). Accordingly, the power losses of these materials at 1 MHz and 50 mT vary from around 350 mW/cc at room temperature to approximately 1 W/cc at 100 °C. The measuring condition is still under the sinusoidal mode.

Synthesis and Characterization of Photoresponsive Macromolecule for Biomedical Application
摘要: Azobenzene, a photo switcher, has attracted increasing interest due to its structural response to photo stimulus in the field of information science and chemical sensing in the recent decades. However, limited water solubility and cytotoxicity restrained their applications in the biomedical field. In research, HA-AZO has been designed as a water soluble photo switcher in biomedical application. Synthesized HA-AZO had good water-solubility and a stable π-π? transition absorbance peak trans-isomer. With exposure to UV, transformation from trans-isomer to cis-isomer of HA-AZO could be realized according to UV spectra. Reversely, trans-isomer could be gradually recovered from cis-isomer in the dark. Simultaneously, quick response and slow recovery could be detected in the process of structural change. Moreover, repeated illumination was further used to detect the antifatigue property of HA-AZO, which showed no sign of fatigue during 20 circles. The influence of pH value on UV spectrum for HA-AZO was investigated in the work. Importantly, in acid solution, HA-AZO no longer showed any photoresponsive property. Additionally, the status of HA-AZO under the effect of UV light was investigated by DLS results and TEM image. Finally, in vitro cytotoxicity evaluations were performed to show the effects of photoresponsive macromolecule on cells.

First-principles investigation on the interlayer doping of SnSe2 bilayer
摘要: Using density functional theory calculations, we systematically investigated the effects of numbers and types of transition metals (TM) on the magnetic property of SnSe2 bilayer nanosheet. Our results revealed that, when one TM is introduced into the interlayer, the magnetic moment induced by the Co and Ni is tiny while it is largely strengthened with the doping of V, Cr, Mn, and Fe. When two TMs are inserted into the interlayer, Vand Cr make the system change into a weak antiferromagnetism (AFM) state while Mn-, Fe-, Co-doped systems display a weak ferromagnetism (FM) ground state. These FM states have the magnetic moments which double those of the one TM–doping systems. With the TM numbers further increasing to four, the robust AFM and FM features appear with the doping of Fe and Mn, respectively. Ni cannot induce any magnetism whatever the numbers of Ni are filling in. Interestingly, with the increase of the numbers of dopants, transitions from FM to AFM and AFM to FM are predicted to be realized on Fe-SnSe2 and Cr-SnSe2 systems, respectively. This kind of transition may be important for the applications in spintronic devices.
