Studying the Absolute Intensities of the Absorption Lines of 2ν7 and ν2 Bands of the CH2 = CD2 Molecule in the Region 1450–1650 cm–1
摘要: As a result of analysis of the high-resolution Fourier spectrum, the absolute intensities of absorption lines of the CH2 = CD2 molecule are measured for the first time.

MPA-GSH functionalized AlGaN/ GaN High Electron Mobility Transistor based sensor for Cadmium ion detection
摘要: This work demonstrates a novel AlGaN/GaN high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) based cadmium ion (Cd2+) sensor with Mercaptopropionic Acid (MPA) and Glutathione (GSH) functionalization. The sensing response of the sensor was analysed by detecting Cd2+ ions at different concentrations. The AlGaN/GaN HEMT sensor exhibits excellent response with the sensitivity of 0.241 μA/ppb, a fast response time of ~ 3 seconds and a lower detection limit of 0.255 ppb. The observed lower detection limit is significantly lower than the World Health Organization (WHO) standard recommended limit for Cd2+ ions in drinking water. Furthermore, the sensor showed good selectivity of Cd2+ ions towards other heavy metal ions. The results indicate that the binding properties of GSH to Cd and the sensitivity of 2-D electron gas (2DEG) towards the variation of charges at the gate region makes the device highly sensitive with rapid detection of Cd2+ ions.

A selective fluorescent chemosensor for Cd2+ based on 8-hydroxylquinoline-benzothiazole conjugate and imaging application
摘要: A 8-hydroxylquinoline-benzothiazole conjugate (HQ-BT) was facilely synthesized by two steps with more than 60% total reaction yield. The HQ-BT showed a weak fluorescence that could be strongly enhanced by coordination with various metal ions such as Al3+, Cd2+, Zn2+ in methanol containing 1% water. Interestingly, the selectivity toward Cd2+ was achieved by increasing water fraction to 30% aqueous methanol solution. Thus, the HQ-BT was developed as a new and selective fluorescent chemosensor for Cd2+ in aqueous solution with a broad pH region 4–12. A good linear relationship between the fluorescence intensity and the Cd2+ concentration was found in the range of 0–5 μM with a detection limit of 0.1 μM (S/N = 3). It was also succesfully used for fluorescence imaging of Cd2+ in living cells.

Acid Environment-improved fluorescence sensing performance: a quinoline Schiff base-containing sensor for Cd2+ with high sensitivity and selectivity
摘要: The development of acid environment-applicable fluorescence sensor is challenging but attractive topic, which can achieve the rapid and comprehensive evaluation of total soluble heavy metal content in natural water. In this work, a quinoline-containing Schiff base, AMQD, was utilized as fluorescence probe for Cd2+. Interestingly, the obtained chemosensor exhibited much better fluorescence detection sensitivity and selectivity toward Cd2+ in acidic 10% methanol aqueous solution (pH 4) comparing to those in neutral environment. Initially, the fluorescence emission of AMQD was almost invisible with the absence of metal ions, while a significant turn-on fluorescence response (~425 nm) can be observed with the addition of Cd2+. The fluorescence detection possesses excellent selectivity without the interference of any other metal cation. The recognition ratio between the fluorescence sensor AMQD and Cd2+ was confirmed to be 1:1, and the detection limit was calculated to be 2.4 nM.
