A Switchable Diplexer Using Switchable Impedance Matching Circuit Technique
摘要： A new type of switchable diplexer is proposed by using switchable impedance matching circuit (SIMC) to connect two quasi-elliptic bandpass filters. The proposed SIMC consists of two different T-network phase shifters to provide the desired impedance matching and a pair of series-parallel configuration p-i-n diode switches to switch the channels on/off. The designed switchable diplexers have four available operation states, so that they realize multiple functional blocks in a single module. The fabricated switchable diplexer features compact size, wide passband, high isolation and independently switchable operation states.

Fully Metallic Anisotropic Lens Crossover-in-Antenna Based on Parallel Plate Waveguide Loaded With Uniform Posts
摘要： This paper describes a compact high-performance orthomode transducer (OMT) with a circular waveguide input and two rectangular waveguide outputs based on the superimposition of three aluminum blocks. Several prototypes operating in the band 1 (31–45 GHz) of the atacama large millimeter array have been fabricated and measured. The design is based on the use of a turnstile junction that is machined in a single block, requiring neither alignment nor a high degree of mechanical tolerances. Thus, a high repeatability of the design is possible for mass production. Across the 31–45 GHz band, the isolation is better than 50 dB and the return losses at the input and outputs of the OMT are better than ?25 dB.

Design of a low-loss microstrip diplexer with a compact size based on coupled meandrous open-loop resonators
摘要： In this paper, we have designed and fabricated a novel microstrip diplexer. It has two quite close channels at 1.67 GHz and 1.88 GHz make it suitable for FDD schemes and GSM applications. The proposed structure includes two coupled meandrous open loop resonators which are coupled to spiral cells. An approximated LC model of the presented resonator is proposed and analyzed to give some information about the resonator behavior. Based on the obtained information, the proposed diplexer is optimized and miniaturized. It occupies a small size of 0.036 kg 0.43 dB and 0.35 dB are obtained for the ?rst and second bands, respectively. For verifying the simulation results and designing method, the diplexer is fabricated and measured, where the measurement and simulation results show a good agreement.

摘要： In this paper we propose a novel diplexer based on surface plasmon polariton (SPP) like propagation in substrate integrated waveguide (SIW). The diplexer consists of two two-layer SIW filters, where layers are designed to have effective permittivities of opposite signs in a certain frequency ranges, thus providing SPP-like propagation, and consequently passbands and stopbands in the desired frequency ranges. The diplexer is designed to operate at 2.4/2.6 GHz, and it is characterized by high performance, low-profile and low-cost structure.

摘要： This paper presents a compact and low-profile bandpass filter (BPF) built of silica-based post-wall waveguide. The BPF adopts direct-coupled resonator filters based on cylindrical resonators. The filter is highly configurable in shape and allows flexible and compact design. A compact E-band hybrid-coupled diplexer is presented as an application. The dimensions of the BPF and diplexer are 4.0×4.0 mm2 and 9.4×9.9 mm2, respectively. The insertion loss of the lower passband of the diplexer is 1.52 dB at 72.9 GHz and that of the higher passband is 2.0 dB at 82.8 GHz

High-isolation diplexer based on dual-mode substrate integrated waveguide resonator
摘要： A high-isolation diplexer based on a dual-mode substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) resonator is proposed in this paper. Based on the theory of the dual-mode resonator, the miniaturized diplexers are designed by using the SIW dual-mode resonators. The superior isolation of the diplexers is obtained because the two operating modes of the dual-mode SIW resonators are not directly coupled and there is no interference with each other. In order to further improve the isolation of the circuit, the number of the order of the diplexer is added. Equivalent circuits are given to analyze and design the dual-mode high-isolation diplexers. Detailed analyses are given according to the equivalent circuits. The dual-mode third-order and fourth-order diplexers are designed and fabricated. The measured results agree well with the simulated ones. The total sizes of the fabricated third-order and fourth-order diplexers are 1.78λg × 2.64λg and 1.79λg × 3.63λg, respectively.

Compact microstrip lowpass-bandpass diplexer using radial stubs
摘要： In this work, a compact microstrip lowpass-bandpass diplexer using radial stubs (RSs) is proposed. By controlling the input impedance of the RS resonators, it is possible to obtain a selective lowpass filter (LPF) and a narrow bandpass filter (BPF) with a fractional bandwidth of 5%, without increasing the insertion losses (ILs) of both filters. The design methodology is explained in details and verified through the design of a diplexer achieving very low IL, 0.15 dB for the LPF and 1.2 dB for the BPF. Moreover, the isolation between the ports is 25 dB making the proposed diplexer useful for designing mixer circuits. Experimental results exhibit high correlation with EM simulation data validating the proposed methodology.
