  • Hydrogen Sulfide Molecules Lidar Sensing in the Atmosphere

    摘要: The optimum operation modes of the Raman lidar and the differential absorption and scattering lidar for the hydrogen sulfide molecules sensing in the atmosphere at the low permissible concentration level have been studied and the error estimation of the hydrogen sulfide molecules concentration measurement in the atmosphere by the Raman lidar and the differential absorption and scattering lidar has been executed. The computer simulation of the two types of such a lidar equations has been fulfilled for this purpose. The measurement relative accuracy for the range of the studied molecules concentration of 1011–1014 cm–3 at the 3.83 μ laser radiation wavelength and the ranging distances from 10 do1000 m lies in the range of 20–26% for the differential absorption and scattering lidar.

  • Iminocoumarin-based red to near-infrared fluorescent turn-on probe with a large Stokes shift for imaging H2S in living cells and animals

    摘要: The development of organic dye-based fluorescent probes for detection of H2S in living systems has attracted considerable attention in recent years. In this work, a novel tetrahydroquinoxaline iminocoumarin-based red to near-infrared (red-to-NIR) fluorescent probe was developed for detection of H2S. This probe shows a rapid and distinct red-to-NIR fluorescent turn-on detection process for H2S with high selectivity and sensitivity (the detection limit was determined to be as low as 10 nM at physiological pH). In addition, this probe exhibits a remarkable large Stokes shift (128 nm) and low cytotoxicity, and can be applied for imaging H2S in living cells and animals. All these results demonstrated that this new probe is promising for detection of H2S both in vitro and in vivo.

  • Au/Ag Nanoboxes based Near-Infrared Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering for Hydrogen Sulfide Sensing

    摘要: Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is a gaseous signaling agent that has important regulatory roles in many biological systems but remains difficult to measure in living biological specimens. Herein, we report a novel near infrared (NIR) activated surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) nanosensor for in-vitro and in-vivo H2S assay utilizing Au/Ag alloy nanoboxes with local surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) at 741 nm. This detection is realized by SERS spectrum changes of the NIR probes, which are labeled on Au/Ag nanoboxes under NIR laser irradiation, resulting from the reaction of H2S with Ag element in the substrate of Au/Ag nanoboxes. Owing to the well matching between the incident laser light frequency and the LSPR of the substrates at the NIR region, this SERS nanosensor with high selectivity and sensitivity can be utilized to monitor the distribution of H2S in living cells and zebra fish embryos. Noticeable, the NIR SERS signal is detectable in tissues at depths of up to 12 mm, demonstrating its huge potential in the in-vivo studies of pathophysiological processes involving H2S.
