摘要: This research presents experimental set of distribution light. Light illuminance is displayed by LabView application. The set was tested by four types of lamp (CFL), incandescent, E27 LED (Light Emitting Diode), T8 tubular fluorescent (FL). The 3 types of luminaire are used for testing. They consisted of down light, high bay and fluorescent reflector. The black close room was 1.5x1.5x1.5 m in size. It was constructed by steel and plywood. The center floor of the room is installed by LDR (Light Dependent Resistor). It was used for measuring the illuminance. LabView application was applied to display value on computer screen. The stepping motor was installed to rotate the lamp. It was controlled by LabView through DAQ 6008 interface card. It was rotated from -90o to 90o. The control set consisted of interface card, motor drive and power supply. They were contained in the insulation box outside of the test room. From the experimental result, the LDR illuminance meter can measure illuminance with 4.52% average error. The light distribution curve from experiment set is correspondent with theory.

摘要: Flame detection systems are useful for the development of fire early detection systems. In general, conventional fire detection system which is usually used heat detector cannot detect the presence of fire since the detector requires much time to detect temperature changes. The use of a camera as an image scanner sensor has the potential to be used as an identifier of a flame shape or color. This study aims to build an image processing flame detection system using image enhancement, segmentation and filtering methods which is applied the Vission Assistant available in LabVIEW. The system implemented in a frame rate of 30 fps with a resolution of 1024 x 768, in which the system accuracy reach up to 98%.

摘要: Underwater vehicle is an important equipment for ocean monitoring and exploitation, and has been attracting more researchers and practitioners. Deep-sea unmanned submersible is a special type of underwater vehicle. This paper designs the monitoring and communication system for a deep-sea unmanned submersible using LABVIEW. The monitoring system includes initialization interface module, state display module and remote intervene module. The communication system consists of WIFI communication module, iridium communication module, underwater acoustic communication, and communication protocol between the monitoring computer on the surface ship and the submersible. The designed monitoring and communication system will be very helpful for operating the submersible in a safe and efficient way.

A Novel Whole Spectrum-based Non-invasive Screening Device for Neonatal Hyperbilirubinemia
摘要: Objective: Careful screening of bilirubin level in newborns is mandatory as per American Academy of Pediatrics (2004), to reduce incidents of kernicterus and acute bilirubin encephalopathy. Although invasive capillary collection of blood and subsequent biochemical test is considered a gold standard for jaundice detection in neonates, transcutaneous bilirubin (TcB) measurement using various non-invasive instruments is also used sporadically across the globe. The major aim of this study was to develop a non-invasive spectrometry-based technique for measurement of neonatal bilirubin level as an alternative of total serum bilirubin (TSB) test without limitations of other available bilirubinometers. Methods: The instrument comprised of a light source and a spectroscopic detector. A light beam from source incident on the neonatal nail plate through optical fibers. The retro reflected light is acquired using the detector. An indigenously developed software used to acquire and analyze the optical signal and to calculate the bilirubin value. The instrument was calibrated and validated in reference to TSB on 1033 subjects. Major results: The result (r=0.95 and P<0.001), indicates a strong correlation between the bilirubin value obtained from our method and TSB. Time variant analysis of the subjects undergoing phototherapy provided a good correlation (r = 0.98). The repeatability test, result shows the mean coefficient of variation less than 5.0%. Conclusions: The indigenously developed non-invasive technique, successfully detects the bilirubin under various physiological conditions with high accuracy and precision.

摘要: Spatial frequency domain imaging, a novel non-contact optical imaging technology, can quantitatively detect optical properties of agro-products which are connected with chemical components and physical structure of tissue. This study introduced a custom program written in LabVIEW 2014 to simplify the configuration and operation of spatial frequency domain imaging system. The LabVIEW procedure can realize several functions: generating sinusoidal grayscale patterns which were projected onto the surface of phantom through a digital projector, controlling motorized precision translation stage to change the position of sample accurately, triggering the CCD camera to circularly collect images, and doing data processing to extract optical properties of tissue. We detected the absorption coefficient and reduced scattering coefficient of a series of self-made solid phantoms with known optical properties and a Fuji red apple using the system proposed in study. The results of phantoms experiment were compared with that detected by the former procedure which processes data in MATLAB. The detection time is reduced, and few difference in accuracy was obtained which means the new software is practicable in spatial frequency domain imaging system. The result of apple experiment demonstrated this system can realize the correct detection of optical properties of apple.

摘要: This paper presents a stable millimeter-wave power monitoring system for ECRH on EAST tokamak. The real-time power monitoring was realized based on power monitor miter bends. The ‘‘Exchange’’ method was proposed to monitor the re?ection power for RF protection. A cRIO-based signal process unit was designed, it is robust and has the response time of 1 μs. The power monitoring system was tested and the experimental results were discussed.

摘要: Electrical brain stimulation provides therapeutic benefits for patients with drug-resistant neurological disorders. But it has restricted access to cell-type selectivity. Optogenetics, in contrast, enables precise targeting of a specific cell type which can address the issue with electrical brain stimulation. Optogenetics is a light-based stimulation method, in which the target cells are transfected with light-sensitive ion channels called opsin. This technique can be used for both excitation and inhibition of cells based on light wavelength and opsin properties. To online modulation of neurons need a closed loop controlling. Closed-loop optogenetics system compares the neural signals with a predefined value at every moment and then decides what to do to achieve the desired value by optical stimulation [1]. One of the important brain signal recordings is single-unit recording (SUR) [2] whiles the most of signal processing method is offline. In this paper, an algorithm was proposed to online spike detection and sorting them based on wavelet transform which was programmed by Labview software. The algorithm consists of three main steps such as detecting spikes, extracting the features of every detected spike and assigning similar spikes to one group. The background noise in multi-unit recording has Gaussian distribution and it contains spikes which the mean value of the signal was considered in signal processing. Time of calculating the main value is about 6.04 μs. If the mean value of a dataset changes noticeably from the estimated value, a candidate spike has occurred. Detected spikes are a discrete sample of the real spikes which the waveforms should be interpolated to improve the detection spike [3]. With detecting a spike, its features must be extracted as the input of spike sorting algorithm. Spikes were sorted in different clusters based on their shapes. Wavelet transform compares the input signal with a predefined function known as a wavelet in different scales. In this algorithm was used 20 scales and Mexican hat wavelet to transform the SUR signal [4]. Total time for interpolation and applying wavelet transform takes about 5.3 ms. The final step of the algorithm is sorting the detected spikes using the extracted features based on applying the wavelet transform and compared all wavelet coefficients of a detected spike with the corresponding coefficients of all the clusters. If the wavelet coefficient in the clusters was within 30% of the corresponding coefficient of the detected spike in all scales, spike put in one group. This part of the algorithm takes about 3.1 ms. Schematic diagram of spike sorting and a photo of the front panel of designed software was shown in Fig.1. In conclusion, designed software has a high processing speed and can be used for online and fully automatic spike sorting for studying and controlling the neural network system with closed loop optogenetics technique.

Research on Measurement of Laser Beam M2 Factor Based on LabVIEW
摘要: A new method for measuring the laser beam M2 factor is presented in this paper. Fixed magnification attenuation and focusing optical system is used to irradiate the laser beam to the CCD camera for spot acquisition, the collected spot is detected and processed based on the LabVIEW software platform, then the Zernike polynomial is used to fit and reconstruct the wavefront of the laser spot, the spatial distribution of the laser beam is given in real time, the optical parameters such as M2 factor are obtained. A test device is also set up for verification. The working wavelength is 400~1100nm, and the measurement accuracy of the M2 factor is ±6%, it can meet most of the current requirements.

摘要: To accommodate the requirements of precise displacement feedback devices in micro-electronic technology, an on-line measurement system of the grating ruler is designed. This system uses a kind of virtual instrument called LabVIEW and digital image processing technology to detect the displacement, that consists of the PXI case of National Instruments, the frame grabber and the precision motion platform. The experimental tests demonstrate that in the distance range of 150 mm, the motor speed is within 1.25 mm/s, the maximum displacement simple, can be error within 0.04mm. This operated-controlled in real time and observed-debugged online. It’s not only adapts to the measuring-displacement, but also suits the surface detection, encapsulation and other fields in the microelectronics manufacturing.
