    摘要: In this paper, we propose a robust target following system, which is used to improve the intelligence and autonomous operation ability of remotely operated vehicles (ROV), using monocular vision sensor. The proposed target following system includes two major parts, namely, target tracking and distance measure. Continuously adaptive Mean-shift(Camshift) algorithm is employed to keep visual lock on the moving target so as to obtain the region of moving target and the centroid of moving target. A maximum attenuation identification(MAI)-based algorithm is applied to get the restored image which is used to get the distance between the moving target and ROV. The centroid of moving target and distance will work together to control the movement of the ROV. Some practical experiments are given to illustrate that our target following system is effective underwater.

  • Improving the efficiency of perovskite solar cells using modification of CH3NH3PbI3 active layer: the effect of methylammonium iodide loading time

    摘要: In perovskite (PSK) solar cells, the PSK absorber layer plays a vital role in power conversion efficiency (PCE). In this study, we report on the fabrication of mesoporous PSK solar cells using a two-step spin-coating rout with the structure of glass/FTO/compact TiO2/mesoporous TiO2/CH3NH3PbI3 (MAPbI3)/P3HT/Au. The morphology and crystalline structure of the PSK thin film is controlled by changing the CH3NH3I (MAI) loading times (the 20?s, 30?s, 40?s, 60?s) on PbI2 film. The PSK layers are optimized at different MAI loading times in a two-step process to enhance the PCE of the PSK solar cells. The investigation and comparison of the results show that the solar cell containing the absorber layer prepared by solution loading time of the 40?s is more efficient than the other devices. The champion device shows the open-circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.97?V, short current density (Jsc) of 19.30?mA/cm2, and fill factor (FF) of 0.64, which leads to the best PCE of 12.04%.

  • Fabrication of bifacial sandwiched heterojunction photoconductor a?? Type and MAI passivated photodiode a?? Type perovskite photodetectors

    摘要: In this work, we report novel heterojunctions perovskite photodetector architecture utilizing metal-free contact electrodes. The metal-free contact electrodes were exploited to fabricate photoconductor – type perovskite photodetector. The attempt to investigate the effect of passivating the active layers of the as – proposed architecture with electrolytic MAI gave rise to a photodiode – type perovskite photodetector. These two photodetector types are sensitive and responsive to light sources through their dual transparent electrodes faces (N-face and T-face). We also showed that passivating the surfaces of the sandwiched perovskite layers with MAI solution improves the performance of the fabricated photodetectors, where the detectivity is enhanced by a factor of hundred compared to non-passivated devices. The proposed photodetectors architectures demonstrate champion dual-detectivity (1.77×1014 Jones for N-face and 4.64 × 1014 Jones for T-face), dual-responsivity (1.94 × 103 A/W for N-face and 1.61 × 103 A/W for T-face) and high dual – sensitivity (3.3 × 102 for N-face and 1.1 × 102 for T-face). All these properties were obtained from the two faces of the MAI passivated photodetectors under 0.02 mW/cm2 red LED illumination and at -2.0 bias voltage. This novel architecture may scale up towards building energy and cost efficient classes of optoelectronic and photovoltaic devices which are responsive to light in two directions.

  • Mediatora??Antisolvent Strategy to Stabilize All-Inorganic CsPbI <sub/>3</sub> for Perovskite Solar Cells with Efficiency Exceeding 16%

    摘要: All inorganic cesium lead triiodide (CsPbI3) perovskites have attracted much attention due to their intrinsic chemical stability and suitable bandgap for photovoltaic applications. However, simple methods to synthesize pure CsPbI3 have been limited. Here, we develop a new mediator-antisolvent strategy (MAS) combining phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) blended chlorobenzene (CBZ) antisolvent and methylammonium iodide (MAI) mediator to synthesize high quality and stable black-phase CsPbI3 perovskite films. The crystallization process is altered by the blended antisolvent, leading to smaller crystallite of the perovskite with improved stability. The small amount of MAI acts as mediator and further improves the quality of the CsPbI3 films in morphology and photoelectronic properties. Finally, the power conversion efficiency of CsPbI3 perovskite solar cells prepared by the strategy significantly increases to a value of ≥ 16% with good reproducibility. Moreover, the devices still keep 95% of its original efficiency over 1000 h.

  • Investigation of the effect of MAI and PbI$$_{\mathrm {2}}$$2 concentrations on the properties of perovskite solar cells

    摘要: the effect of perovskites layer quality on the performance of compact-TiO2/mesoporous-TiO2/CH3NH3PbI3/carbon solar cells was investigated. Different perovskite layers were prepared by varying concentrations of PbI2 and CH3NH3I, while reaction temperature and dipping time were ?xed. The range of concentrations for PbI2 and methylammonium iodide (MAI) were 1–1.4 M and 6–10 mg ml?1, respectively. Fabricated perovskite layers were ?rst coated by carbon electrodes (5-layer) and then, the champion one was coated by Spiro-OMeTAD (as a hole transport material) and Au-evaporated layer as a cathode (6-layer). Fabricated ?lms were fully characterized by ?eld emission scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, UV–Vis spectroscopy and photoluminescence spectrum. Photovoltaic properties were measured under AM 1.5. Output currents of 5-layer cells were in the range of 228–476 μA, of which the highest one was obtained by using 1.2 M PbI2 and 8 mg ml?1 MAI. Ultimately, the maximum power conversion ef?ciency of 9.1% was obtained with 6-layer cell.

  • Off-Stoichiometric Methylammonium Iodide Passivated Large Grain Perovskite Film in Ambient Air for Efficient Inverted Solar Cells

    摘要: Hot-casting is a promising technique in deposition high-quality organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite thin films with large crystal grain size. Here we reported the crystallinity and grain size of perovskite films could be systematically tailored by modulating the stoichiometry of the precursor solution in hot-casting process under ambient condition with a relative humidity of 40%. It was found that a slight excess of methylammonium iodide (MAI) in the precursor solution could effectively compensate the MAI loss due to the high substrate temperature. A significant increase in grain size and crystallinity of the perovskite film was observed together with a decrease in defect density and a carrier concentration enhancement in the MAI-rich samples. The corresponding devices exhibited a notable increase in fill factor (up to 80.7%) and short-circuit current density. In addition, in MAI-deficient samples, an enrichment of PbI2 at the grain boundaries was directly observed by optical microscopy and laser confocal microscopy. Time-resolved photoluminescence spectroscopy revealed an increase in the charge carrier lifetime in the MAI-deficient samples, which was in line with the previous results with a small amount of excess PbI2 in the perovskite film. This work highlights a new strategy to prepare high-quality perovskite thin films with excellent crystal quality under ambient condition.

  • Synthesis and characterization of CH <sub/>3</sub> NH <sub/>3</sub> PbI <sub/>3</sub> and CH <sub/>3</sub> NH <sub/>3</sub> PbI <sub/>(3-x)</sub> Cl <sub/>x</sub> perovskite solar cell materials

    摘要: The emerging of perovskite solar cell has attracted many interests in the synthesis and characterization of hybrid perovskite materials related to methylammonium iodide (MAI) due to various promising properties. In this work, we found a faster way to synthesize hybrid perovskite CH3NH3PbI3 and CH3NH3PbI(3-x)Clx (x ? 0,1,2) powders from a different solvent in the preparation process of MAI precursor. In addition, it was found that Cl atoms cannot directly substitute for I in CH3NH3PbI(3-x)Clx powders, as characterized by XRD and XAS, with a solid-state method employed in the perovskite (ABX3) structure.

    摘要: Monitoring of mountain glaciers using SAR interferometry is challenging, yet it is necessary to improve our understanding of glacier dynamics in a changing climate, by estimating their precise movements. Although there are significant difficulties of spatial and temporal decorrelation for observing mountain glaciers, multiple aperture interferometry (MAI) can be a promising solution compared to other existing methods. In this study, we will present temporal variations of Himalayan glaciers’ behavior focusing on the velocity estimation and glacier outline mapping. These results will be provided for estimating the rate of glacier melt, and in turn play an important role in better understanding the hydrology and climate change in the Himalayan region.

  • High Performance with Avalanche Photodiode in Wavelength/Time Optical Code Division Multiple Access

    摘要: In order to increase the number of users as increasing the data rate and transmission distance, then to reduce the impact of multi-access interference (MAI) and the effect of phase-induced intensity noise (PIIN). This study proposed the utilizing of an avalanche photodiode (APD) on two-dimension optical code division multiple access (2-D OCDMA). APD detector is more sensitive than positive-intrinsic-negative (PIN) photodiode, due to its inherent gain that increases the signal to noise ratio (SNR) of the system by amplifying the received signal prior to proceeding to next stage. In this research, an improvement of realizable system capacity APD performance of different gain applied for Wavelength/Time modified double weight (MDW) code for cardinality, bit error rates (BER) and noise interference are analyzed. MATLAB is utilized as a software for theoretical results to study the APD gain effect upon the probability density function (PDF) and SNR performance. The results in very good approval indicate that 95.45% cardinality improvements compare to 2-D MDW code with PIN at 1.25 Gbps data bit rate. The Psr = -14 dBm for 500 active users by using APDs with gain =5, but 5 dBm effective receive power for PIN error floor 10-9 for 500 users. The usage of APD over (PIN) photodiode provides a high performance for a long transmission distance and high data bit rate that improved in the simulation for real environment by using the Optiwave software version 11.0. Seemingly, the system supports more no. of users, less bit error rate, and large data rate transmission.
