Spline Cúbico para el Tratamiento Funcional de la Radiación Solar Global
摘要: The article shows the calculation of cubic splines that defines the behavior of the global solar radiation on a high Andean equatorial location. The spline smoothing is developed in a normed orthogonal functional space, where the discretized data (ti,xi) are transformed into functions X(t). The analysis of univariate and multivariate data allows studying natural phenomena from finite sets of numerical values. Data collection involves not only getting values, but also includes the processes or functions that give rise to them. Bootstrap resampling was used for detecting outliers with which annual, month and by climatic periods averages are obtained. Functional monthly averages of global solar radiation show the presence of two forms of behavior during the period studied.

Some Applications of ANN to Solar Radiation Estimation and Forecasting for Energy Applications
摘要: In solar energy, the knowledge of solar radiation is very important for the integration of energy systems in building or electrical networks. Global horizontal irradiation (GHI) data are rarely measured over the world, thus an artificial neural network (ANN) model was built to calculate this data from more available ones. For the estimation of 5-min GHI, the normalized root mean square error (nRMSE) of the 6-inputs model is 19.35%. As solar collectors are often tilted, a second ANN model was developed to transform GHI into global tilted irradiation (GTI), a difficult task due to the anisotropy of scattering phenomena in the atmosphere. The GTI calculation from GHI was realized with an nRMSE around 8% for the optimal configuration. These two models estimate solar data at time, t, from other data measured at the same time, t. For an optimal management of energy, the development of forecasting tools is crucial because it allows anticipation of the production/consumption balance; thus, ANN models were developed to forecast hourly direct normal (DNI) and GHI irradiations for a time horizon from one hour (h+1) to six hours (h+6). The forecasting of hourly solar irradiation from h+1 to h+6 using ANN was realized with an nRMSE from 22.57% for h+1 to 34.85% for h+6 for GHI and from 38.23% for h+1 to 61.88% for h+6 for DNI.

Performance evaluation and analysis of polycrystalline photovoltaic plant located in Northern Morocco
摘要: This paper analyzes and studies the performance of 2 kWp grid-connected photovoltaic system installed on the roof of Faculty of Science and Technology, Tangier, Morocco. The used data in this study was measured from January 2015 to December 2016, where the system supplied a total of 7.10 MWh to the local grid, distributed as follows; 3578.22 kWh in 2015 and 3521.77 kWh in 2016. The measured data were used to evaluate the performance parameters of the photovoltaic system, including final yield, performance ratio, capacity factor and system efficiency. During the year 2015, the final yield of the photovoltaic plant was 4.80 kWh/kWp.day, the annual performance ratio was 78.13%, the annual capacity factor was around 20.02%, and the system efficiency was 11.90%. For the year 2016, these parameters were 4.72 kWh/kWp.day, 77.24%, 19.71%, and 11.76% respectively. These performances are compared with data obtained in similar conditions.

Measurement of Global Solar Radiation data using Raspberry Pi and its estimation using Genetic Algorithm
摘要: The demand for more efficient and environmentally benign, non-conventional sources of energy came into picture due to increasing demands for human comforts. Solar energy is now the ultimate option. In this paper, the instruments used to measure the solar radiation at Innovation Centre, MIT Manipal were connected to a Raspberry Pi to access the data remotely. Genetic Algorithms were formulated, so that the monthly mean global solar radiation in Manipal can be effectively estimated. Meteorological data such as humidity, temperature, wind speed, etc. were used as inputs to train the networks. A successful network was made between the data loggers and the Raspberry Pi. The data collected by the data loggers from the devices are transmitted to the Raspberry Pi which in turn sends the data to an internal server. The Raspberry Pi can be accessed using any SSH client such as PuTTY. The meteorological data was collected for the years 2010-2014 in order to formulate the Artificial Intelligence models. The validity of the formulated models were checked by comparing the measured data with the estimated data using tools such as RMSE, correlation coefficient, etc. The modelling of solar radiation using GA was carried out in GeneXpro tools version 5.0.
