摘要: This paper presents the evaluation results of 1 k? and 10 k? CENAM calculable resistors using as reference a 1 k? METAS calculable resistor, by means of 1:1 and 10:1 ratios measurements, respectively. The measurements show an agreement better than 0.35 μ?/? through the audio-frequency range for the 10 k? CENAM resistor. An analysis of the possible reasons of the observed linear frequency dependence in the 1 k? CENAM calculable resistors is also presented.

摘要: We present preliminary results of precision measurements of 1 M? quantum Hall resistance array made of the GaAs/AlGaAs heterosubstrate. Precision measurements have been performed with a cryogenic current comparator resistance bridge by comparing the array resistance to a 10 k? resistance standard traceable to the quantum Hall effect. Stability of the quantization within the relative standard uncertainty of 18 ×10-9 through repeated thermal cycles reflects the invariant quantum nature of the array resistance in a given condition.

摘要: An optoelectronic pulse drive system based on commercially available telecoms optoelectronic components and a field programmable gate array (FPGA) has been developed. The system was used to drive a Josephson junction array (JJA) to synthesize quantum-accurate voltage waveforms. Results from preliminary demonstration of the system are presented showing the synthesis of a 3.1 kHz sine wave.

摘要: GRACE — Developing electrical characterisation methods for future graphene electronics is a 2016 Normative Joint Research Project of the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research. The project focuses on the measurement of the electrical properties of graphene. Its objectives are to develop validated measurement methods and protocols, including fast-throughput examples. The work is performed in collaboration with international standardisation committees, with an aim to initiate and develop dedicated documentary standards.

摘要: We investigated phase noise induced in a piece of optical fiber installed in an ultra-stable environment. The ultra-stable environments were implemented by hermetically sealing, vacuuming, temperature stabilization, vibration isolation, and acoustic shielding. Moreover, in order to detect and evaluate such small fiber noise with high sensitivity, we employed the well-known self-heterodyne technique. The most stable environment drastically reduced the phase noise induced in a 10-m fiber; the noise corresponds to Allan deviation of 7 × 10?20 at 1-s averaging time, and to 2 × 10?21 at 10000-s averaging time (measurement bandwidth: 500 Hz).

摘要: The radiation pressure force has been widely considered in a wide range of fields, such as microscopic optomechanics, plasmonics, astronautics, and metrology. The precision measurement of radiation pressure force, especially in a fashion traceable to the International System of Units (SI), is of importance. In this work, by using a new force balance system being developed at NMIJ, which can be calibrated by SI traceable standard, the radiation pressure force of optical laser was determined and compared to a load obtained by small mass standards.

摘要: A global paradigm shift to redefine the International System of Units (SI) from a system based on seven fundamental units to seven fundamental constants is well under way. More specifically, the unit of mass, the kilogram, will be realized via a fixed value of the Planck constant h and a Kibble balance (KB) serves as a method of achieving this. Over the past few decades, national metrology institutes around the world have invested in developing KBs, the majority aimed at realizing the unit of mass at the 1-kg level with uncertainties on the order of a few parts in 108. However, upon fixing the Planck constant, mass can be directly realized at any level, deeming the kilogram only a historically unique benchmark. At the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), a tabletop-sized Kibble balance (KIBB-g1) designed to operate at the gram-level range with uncertainties on the order of a few parts in 106 is currently under development.

摘要: Theoretical analysis of a different capacity sensor with a grounded shield window is presented in this paper. The analysis is based on the conformal transformation method. It has been theoretically proven that this sensor is sensitive to the motion with only one transformation degree of freedom of freedom (DOF), and immune to the other two transformation DOFs. In this paper, the theoretical analysis of this different capacity sensor will be provided based on the conformal transformation method.
