摘要: A physical layer security encryption algorithm in combines proposed OFDM-PON three-dimensional constellation and chaotic mapping. The numerical results show that it has high security and better BER performance compared with traditional two-dimensional modulation.

摘要: We experimentally study data suppression characteristics of a semiconductor optical amplifier with a Faraday rotator mirror used for wavelength-reuse WDM-PON. Bidirectional transmission over 10 km assisted by spectral trimming using a Fabry-Perot etalon is demonstrated.

摘要: Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Passive Optical Network (OFDM-PON) has been regarded as one of the promising solutions for 5G backhaul due to its excellence in spectral efficiency and transmission stability. However, the vulnerability of OFDM-PON to link failure cumbers its applicability in 5G backhaul, which is expected to offer enhanced network resilience. Although link duplication has evolved as a common practice for the protection of PON against link failure, the compromise between economical cost for backup links and QoS guarantee remains an open issue. In this paper, we focus on the network planning of resilient OFDM-PON and propose a novel backup mechanism to effectively mediate between network redundancy cost and performance degradation at both PHY and MAC layers.

摘要: The effect of the optical fiber transmission link on 60GHz OFDM signal in a converged 60 GHz Radio over Fiber and OFDM-PON is investigated. In order to achieve an acceptable performance of the received 60GHz OFDM signal in the OFDM-PON network architecture, a standardized EVM range (2-5%) for most of the modern wireless systems that utilize OFDM waveforms must be implemented. The performance of the converged 60GHz RoF over OFDM-PON achieved a better constellation diagram for the received OFDM signal with optimum RF power of 6dBm thus providing the target range EVM measurement.
