  • Harmonic detection method based on adaptive noise cancellation and its application in photovoltaic - active power filter system

    摘要: The adaptive harmonic detection method based on the adaptive noise cancellation principle has the advantages of strong adaptability and good robustness. However, when the step size of the algorithm is selected, there is a conflict between the convergence speed and the steady-state accuracy. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an improved variable step size adaptive harmonic detection method. The algorithm uses the sliding integrator to find the feedback that can truly reflect the tracking situation, and substitutes it into the step size iteration formula based on L2 norm to achieve the step size adjustment. In order to further verify the superiority and practicability of the improved algorithm, the algorithm is applied to the photovoltaic-active power filter (PV-APF) system, and simulation verification is performed in MATLAB. The simulation results show that under the same simulation conditions, the convergence speed of the improved algorithm is half a cycle faster than that of the traditional method, and the steady-state error is smaller. In the application of PV-APF system, under normal light, the dual functions of grid-connected photovoltaic system and harmonic compensation are realized. The total harmonic distortion (THD) of the system is 2.09%, which effectively improves the power quality of photovoltaic system.

  • Single-phase photovoltaic grid-connected inverter for predictive control method with power feed-forward

    摘要: In the traditional photovoltaic grid-connected inverter control, there are problems such as slow system response speed, low stability and grid-connected current distortion. In this regard, a novel current prediction control method for grid-connected inverter with power feed-forward is proposed. The method consists of DC voltage outer loop control, current predictive control, power feed-forward and grid voltage feed-forward. The characteristic is that the current prediction control algorithm derived from the state equation of the grid-connected inverter effectively suppresses the influence of DC voltage fluctuation on the grid-connected current and enhances the robustness of the system; the introduction of power feed-forward accelerates the dynamic response of the system; The introduction of grid voltage feed-forward reduces voltage distortion or current distortion. And the traditional PI control module is not needed, the structure is simple, and the circuit is easy to implement. Matlab/Simulink simulation model and experimental results prove the effectiveness of the proposed control method, which is more practical than the traditional double loop control method.

    摘要: When an unbalanced voltage drop occurs in the grid system, output power of distributed photovoltaic grid-connected system will generate second harmonics. In order to suppress the second harmonic, a new low voltage ride-through control strategy is proposed, which can adjust the harmonic suppression target according to the degree of voltage drop. This strategy can suppress the second harmonic of active power when the voltage drop is low, and suppress the second harmonic of reactive power when the voltage drop is large. The control strategy is simulated in MATLAB, and the results testified its effectiveness.

    摘要: This paper proposes a new topology for a single-phase grid-tie two-stage DC-AC boost inverter for the application of PV systems that utilize high-frequency transformer (HFT) for galvanic isolation. In the first stage, a new single-stage high-frequency boost inverter (HFBI) is proposed to boost and convert the DC output voltage of the PV modules to a high-frequency single-phase square waveform and to realize maximum power point tracking (MPPT). The second stage is rectifier-inverter system (RIS) that interfaces HFBI to the grid. Therefore, a single-phase high-frequency transformer is used to link both stages and to provide galvanic isolation between the AC and DC sides. The proposed topology has many advantages such as increasing the inverter output voltage level, MPPT, high reliability, small size and lightweight. In addition, a proportional integral current control (PI) conventional is used to inject a sinusoidal current into the grid at unity power factor. The proposed topology has been verified analytically by using PSIM software and experimentally by using a laboratory prototype.
